According to many skiers, January is the best month during the winter season: the crowds from the high season are a distant memory, but the slopes are still beautiful! In January the winter is at its peak, the snow is not lacking and the temperature maintains it in an exceptional condition throughout the entire day ... try it to believe it!

This is also the perfect time to experience the thrill of a dinner in a mountain hut: most of them can be reached during moonshine with snowmobiles or snow cats; they provide their own snack tables and offer typical and festive menus of Valle d'Aosta, which go well with the warm wines from our local wineries.

Anyway, why would you limit yourself to the "usual skiing"? Our mountain guides organize many exciting activities every day. From heli-skiing with a panoramic view of the Monte Rosa glacier, to group snowshoeing on a few of the panoramic peaks of the Valley... and if, one day, you are tired and prefer something totally different, the events calendar of the Aosta Valley is diverse, during the whole winter, you just have to choose!

Have you heard? The famous Sant'Orso Fair takes place in Valle d'Aosta during January: one of the most extraordinary and important fairs for wood-based handicrafts on a national level. An unmissable event for all lovers of tradition, handicraft enthusiasts, or even just the curious who want to learn what artisanship is hidden behind many of the beautiful works of wood that are typical of our region!

-  Follow your own rhythms, no schedule... : Breakfast lasts until late! We thought to pamper our guests with a very special service,  we want to allow everyone to enjoy the well-deserved rest that is right to expect from a holiday, for this reason the service is guaranteed throughout the morning, from 7.30am to 11.30am with a big breakfast buffet based on typical products of the Aosta Valley and the highly appreciated showcooking.

 
-  The freedom to choose...:  we don’t have a restaurant but we are in the center of the village and the culinary proposal of Champoluc will win you over... We will be at your complete disposal to recommend a local according to your tastes...from the gourmet restaurant, to the typical Aosta-Valley place, to the hut at high altitude or an excellent pizza... And in case you choose a place not near to the hotel we will be happy to accompany you and pick you up at the end of dinner with our shuttle service. 
 If you just want to tease something do not worry we have a small card available all day from 12.30 to 22.00 where you can taste chopping boards of cold cuts from our farm, sandwiches, bruschetta etc...  
  • The Outdoor Swimming Pool with Whirlpool features will make you live magical moments... You can use it from 10.00am to 8.00pm, while young guests under 16 years can access it until 5.30pm.
 
  • In our small but well-kept Wellness Centre you can relax, pamper yourself and recharge your batteries! It is open daily from 10.00 am  to 8.00 pm and includes: Finnish sauna, steam bath, Roman calidarium with mountain herbs, bio sauna, ice waterfall, emotional showers, Scottish shower, 10-seater Jacuzzi, relaxation area, herbal tea and outdoor barrel sauna. The entrance to the SPA is reserved only for guests older than 16 years of age.
